  1. KickFont - v2.0 - Greg Browne - FOR ALL THE A-1000 OWNERS who hate TOPAZ.

  3.         NOW FEATURING BOTH TOPAZ 80 AND TOPAZ 60 REPLACEMENT

  5. This is a replacement font ON KICKSTART for the dreary topaz fonts that
  6. Commodore saddled us with.  It is permanent and in place on power-up!
  7. It is a font similar to Clean 8 but fuller & rounder and VERY easy to read.
  8. Now BlitzFonts won't be slowed down by using SetFont to get an alternate
  9. look. (Using non-default font does slow BlitzFonts down, y'know.)

  11. ANYONE CAN INSTALL IT!  I even included Benjamin Fuller's SumKick (nice!)in
  12. this archive.  (You do need a df1: for KickFont to work. Sorry!)

  14. 1)  Make a COPY of KickStart 1.2 (Might work on 1.1 - don't know, don't care)
  15. 2)  Put it in df1: and type KickFont2 (This writes the fonts to Kickstart)
  16. 3)  Type SumKick df1: -f   (This fixes the checksum so it doesn't go nuts)
  17. 4)  Turn off power and restart completely with the new KickStart disk.
  18. 5)  VOILA!  Nice text. How?  Don't ask!  Lots of fiddling & study.
